About Me

This is the part where I might be supposed to impress you with all my training and expertise in photography, but alas, up until now all my formal training went towards singing. When the pandemic hit and essentially shut down the world, I found myself with a new masters degree in opera performance and nowhere to use it. So, when that pandemic relief fund rolled around, I seized the opportunity to buy a DSLR camera that I'd been eyeing for the past few years... the rest is history. Thanks to several patient and wonderful friends and colleagues, I've been able to gain experience with a variety of different types of photography ranging from headshots to small events. Over the past few years I've developed a passion for people and capturing not just their image but also, even in the smallest way, the particular essence of what makes them special. I want my subjects to look at their photo and be able to say "Oh, that's me!" I'm always looking for the next challenge, so if you like what I've done so far I encourage you to present me with my next one.
